All the dreams that you can’t chase All the subtleties of limited embrace All the places you can’t be All the people that wish that you could see All the actions you once knew All regrets are put on pause when you can’t do So you gotta wait for it So you gotta wait for it I think we better wait for it I think we better wait for it Who are you on the other side? Are you kinder? Are you patient? Are you glad to be alive? Knowing now your precious time When it’s on hold do you regroup? Or try to push it down inside We had enough of the screens Finger-tapped sentiments feel useless on the seems So you gotta wait for it So you gotta wait for it I think we better wait for it I think we better wait for it I want to hold your hand I want to kiss your face I want to sweat with you I want to taste I want to taste what you taste

This little pocket hides a secret To accent things Resent things Forget things To a stall you can reset things Reset Resent Who pitched in Did I get skipped Numb for the gum Who's got the drip Resent things Forget things Can't be responsible For what the others do I owe it all to you I owe it all to you Can't be responsible For what the others do I owe it all to you I owe it all to you Staying out too late Never seize the day Sleep when mourning breaks Can't be responsible For what the others do I owe it all to you I owe it all to you Can't be responsible For what the others do I owe it all to you I owe it all to you

Is that really you The one I saw daily The one I once knew Another year of connections Gone unglued Are you having a breakthrough Is it a meltdown Is it a different you Hard to tell when I can't see you Can't touch you Can't feel you Time stands still When you're waiting on a friend I know I'll see your face again No one signed up For the space we all were in I know one day we won't pretend Pretend Pretend Is that really me The one you saw last year You thought that you knew me Does time away make me a new me Have I learned to break free Is it a meltdown Is it a different me Hard to tell when you can't see me Can't touch me Can't feel me Time stands still When you're waiting on a friend I know I'll see you face again No one signed up For the space we all were in I know one day we won't pretend Pretend Pretend Pretend Pretend Pretend Pretend

Snakes 06:09
I'm getting close to understanding I'll offer up my flesh to you To know that this is where I'm landing Hold it in this place As you melt on me Pressure's been building Down where it needs to Release if you need to I'm holding out for you I'll push harder if you Ask me to break you Your body gives instruction to my body This is what we'll do We're chasing tales in the dark Are you amused by passion Snakes shed their skin Who's coming with Are you enchanted in your heart You set this bed on fire Snakes shed their skin Are you coming with I'm alive when I'm beside you Taste you on my lips Press into your hips The pleasure never ends As long as I'm your friend The pleasure never ends We're chasing tales in the dark Are you amused by passion Snakes shed their skin Who's coming with Are you enchanted in your heart You set this bed on fire Snakes shed their skin Are you coming with There's no longer a lust crime So take your time Are we riding with the right one Or are we loving on the wrong one Is there a wrong one There is a wrong on Is there a wrong one There is a wrong on Can you love the wrong one You can love the right one Can you love the wrong one You can love the right one Can you love the wrong one You can love the right one We don't love the wrong one

I am the gun I am the word I own your screens Haven't you heard I'll take all you have And it's everything Put me on the cloud Because I'm headed to Mars You can keep your world I got a ticket out of here Sheep and their shepherds know whom to bite Spacemen don't care I robbed all the fuel Hunger never was solved Instead, I have all of these batteries You'll buy them all I'd make a clone of me When I close my eyes that's all I see I'd make a clone of me When I close my eyes that's all I see Spacemen don't care Spacemen don't care Spacemen don't care Spacemen don't care

Recognizing 03:40
Holding him up Or is this still holding him down Could this miracle be less painless It's back hovering But the mania Won't relent the mechanics of this machine This song will not resolve Until you redressed the bandages Suit up, the suture is clean You can tell by the cracks in his lips He has weathered the storm But his ships not coming in Time takes a toll on those undecided Betting on faith no actions required Praying for change but he's stuck on the sin He can't make friends when he's always kneeling He put away the chains He put the cross away

Daddy says fight for America They're gonna take your freedom away They're gonna take your voice They're gonna take your gun They're gonna take your liberty When are they going to finish the wall Q told you what to believe Soon there's gonna be a holy war The end of everything Belief in Blind treason Never had a doubt Nor questioned your reason Faith healers False saviors Betting on you to handle their labor They'll wash their hands in your blood You can choose something different Something better to do Something better for you Mommy don't like the neighbors But they're such a nice family If they get too loud tonight She's gonna call the police She said the food they cook is different Their language we can't speak When they moved into the neighborhood She said those people, we can't greet Belief in Blind treason Never had a doubt Nor questioned your reason Faith healers False saviors Betting on you to handle their labor They'll wash their hands in your blood You can choose something different Something better to do Something better for you You don't have to be a martyr You don't have to You don't have to Children can teach their parents too You don't have to You don't have to Children can teach their parents too You don't have to You don't have to Children can teach their parents too You don't have to You don't have to Children can teach their parents too

Star 03:31
Back away from the hate of men You have the gift of indifference Don't contemplate all the hate they send Don't need to carry what they're offering You, you are the star Burning bright Marvel at what you are Night becomes the dawn So seize the day In everything you do and say Do, do what you will Love is the law It denominates everything Do what thou wilt Is your greatest gift If love is the basis of all of it Born to burn bright yes we all are stars Light up the sky With a beam from your heart You, you are the star Burning bright Marvel at what you are Night becomes the dawn So seize the day In everything you do and say Do, do what you will Love is the law It denominates everything Now You know The pain It's easy to give up your head
9.
Present 04:04
Are you living in a place that you don't love anymore Are you sipping from a cup, but you don't want another pour Are you gonna take a taste, but you don't want no more Are you reaching out to death, 'cause you don't see another door You have your fangs so sink them in It's the loveliest of sin You'll never stop, if you always begin Rewind the tape, to play again A song that you never really wanted Jammed up in the tape deck again Where to begin Tell me where do we end You got to stick to the present my friend Where to begin Tell me where do we end You got to stick to the present my friend I've been walking hand in hand with the devil for so long Wondering when he's going to make me his hero You've been walking hand in hand with Jesus for so long Wondering when he'll give you keys to your kingdom Where to begin Tell me where do we end You got to stick to the present my friend Where to begin Tell me where do we end You got to stick to the present my friend

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brother Wolf Announces Highly Anticipated 2nd Album Release: "After Fear"
Michigan, USA — Brother Wolf, the enigmatic multi-instrumentalist hailing from Michigan, is set to unveil his second studio album, "After Fear," on Friday, October 13, 2023. The album offers a poignant reflection on the tumultuous events of our times, including the pandemic, January 6th, and the myriad challenges faced in the early years of this decade.

Genre-blending Post-Punk Soundscapes
"After Fear" presents listeners with a captivating blend of post-punk soundscapes that delve into the complexities of our collective psyche. Brother Wolf masterfully crafts these sonic landscapes by performing all the instruments and arrangements himself. His unique creative process involves weaving together layers of guitar, occasional horns, strings, and piano, all anchored by a compelling melodic bass line.
A Musical Journey through the Pandemic Era
Written and recorded during the winter and spring of 2021, "After Fear" is a profound exploration of our shared experiences emerging from the pandemic. Brother Wolf takes listeners on a journey through themes of mental health, reconnection, and the importance of living in the present moment.

About Brother Wolf
Brother Wolf, a true polymath from Michigan, is more than just a musician. With a background in communication arts as a professor of Communication Studies, he has left an indelible mark on the creative world. Previously known as the frontman for Michigan-based bands Head and Love Fossil. Focusing his energy with his new project, the live performance of this has heavy hitting, seasoned veterans of the Grand Rapids music scene; Matt Youker (drums - Ozenza, The War Between, Fedykin, Glassfield) Britt Younker (bass - Ozenza, The War Between), Justin Sharrow (lead guitar - Brena and UTO) and Jennifer Dodde (piano - David Bowie Tribute, Jesus Christ Superstar).

Press
The Record Eagle, in a story on July 28, 2023, described Brother Wolf's work as "drawing from a David Bowie-coined phrase, 'aesthetically promiscuous,'" and cited influences ranging from '70s glam and post-punk to noise rock and lyrical play of golden-era hip hop.

Record Release Party
To celebrate the album's release, Founders Brewing Company will host Brother Wolf’s Record Release Party at their taproom in Grand Rapids, MI, on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 8:00 PM. Founders will release the limited edition Brother Wolf IPA available exclusively in the taproom the day of and following the release. "Brother Wolf IPA has a crisp golden body with citrus notes creating a tropical mouthfeel," said Diamond Deschaine, Founders Innovation Brewer.
